As a designer I draw inspiration from my many different life experiences. I have worked as a carpenter, a metalworker, sculptor, and welder, and I feel that these things have influenced my aesthetic profoundly. I love the juxtaposition of industrial, hard structures blended with sumptuous fabrics, comfort, and unique details. I want my clothing to convey a sense of mystery and style that imbues the wearer with a profound sense of luxury and pleasure, while still maintaining a hard edginess that feels fresh and inspired.
