School of Apparel Design & Development

I am a trained tailor with a love for engineering and the process of developing garments. I have over 5 years of experience in hands-on construction, fit, and patternmaking. Through the School of Apparel Design & Development I have developed skills in tech-pack development, grading and design software. My goal is to work as a technical designer or in a design-related position. I am inspired by my homeland, Ghana, and its culture. My final line, Afropolitan, brings together a vibrant palette, traditional Ghanaian symbols, and sophisticated, tailored pieces.
