My approach as a designer is influenced by many factors including my upbringing in an art and history obsessed home, my intense curiosity for how things work, and my intersectional identities. After spending several years in the performing arts, I continue to be intrigued by the way that different mediums help tell a story. I love learning how new technology and old craft alike can help bring to life a creative vision. So, now I enjoy working with others to explore how we create meaning through garments.

 My Final Line, Cirque du Coeur: For{e}ward, is based on a radically optimistic vision of humanity’s future, and the dance of light and dark. I chose to use natural and technological materials to create modular, genderless garments for all adventurous people.
