My influences for designing have always been my culture, people and places. I love to create clothing for the adventurous person who likes to take risks and isn’t afraid to try new things. I have a solid understanding of product development and a high interest in the creative side of fashion as well as the technical.
My final line, Maria, was created to merge my Mexican and American culture to create clothing for the fun, adventurous, creative person with double functionality and style. I was inspired by the intricate embroidery from my birthplace Oaxaca, Mexico. The rougher, tougher silver grommet details come from Seattle and its great buildings.
