I will be relocating to New York City in the fall to pursue a career in design. I would like to use my skills to unify the often divergent creative and social justice worlds to provide training, support, and job placement within the apparel industry for people who have been incarcerated to reduce the rate of recidivism.
My approach to design is based around the singular qualities of pleasure and ease when getting dressed. This tenet is reflected in UNIFORM, the capsule collection designed with partner Cailyn Embring.
