School of Apparel Design & Development

I am a thoughtful, intention-oriented designer, informed and inspired by textiles and materials.  I enjoy playing with print and pattern within minimalist design constructs.  When designing, fabrics and materials inform my silhouettes.  I enjoy creating a textural, as well as visual apparel experience.  I am moved by minimalist art, especially sculpture, and strive to reward the insightful eye with great attention to small detail within my designs.  Prior to finding apparel design, I worked for nearly a decade as a social worker.  My new career path provides opportunities to incorporate my interpersonal, as well as verbal and written communication skills, while providing tangible creative deliverables at day’s end.
