For finals week our first year students had two projects due- dress shirts and a group collar project. For the collar project, each group of students chooses a photo of a top with a collar and recreates it. Through the process, they make multiple muslins and sew up a final sample in a fabric close to the ones in their pictures.

For the dress shirt, students had pattern blocks to work off of but were able to make modifications to the fit and design.
