SCOTT MOY

INSTRUCTOR / LEAD PROGRAM COORDINATOR

Originally from the Midwest, Scott grew up with seven sisters and one brother, taking an interest in sewing and patterning at an early age. He graduated from St. Olaf College with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, with semesters in New York-Pratt Manhattan and Kansas City Art Institute. He moved to Seattle in 1993 and graduated from the School of Apparel Design & Development in 2004 with top honors. He has been teaching construction and design classes since 2007, and has worked as a stylist, fashion editor, and a costume designer/stitcher. Scott spends his time camping, biking, going to yoga, cooking and collecting and wearing asymmetrical and whimsical new and vintage clothing.
