I enjoy using design to create practical forms of adornment and am deeply influenced by my Japanese heritage and the land I grew up on. My line, Kana Suwa, is inspired by childhood nostalgia, fantasy, and the natural world, and is created with botanically-dyed natural fibers to connect the wearer to the earth.
